The Beginning of the End

It is May 15th...Graduation is on June 12...THAT'S SOON! I'm starting to get really nervous and sad about graduating. I have been hanging out with my friends as much as possible. I miss them already. This past week my soccer team lost in the semi-finals to MA in PK's. I have never been so emotional about something before.... I was in tears, I couldn't help it. Soccer has been such a huge part of my life, and it just hit me that that was my last official game..probably ever (not including Club soccer in college...doesn't count..). I am so sad its over, but I have so many good memories from the sport. Senioritis is killin' me. I have zero motivation and all I want to do is be with my friends... honestly, I think teachers should just give up trying to assign homework...it's not working. Also, I have really been appreciating everyone at my high school more. I realized there are so many people who aren't even in my grade that I love so much and will miss so much next year... I'm really sad high school is ending.

This picture is from prom (May 8th). In it is about half of my soccer team.

Week 11 (The Final Countdown)

There are officially 10 school days until Senior Spring. There is so much to look forward to, for example, not having calculus, inter-block break (no homework), and having a really easy third trimester. As usual, I am craving sunshine like no other, needless to say I'm pretty amped about the blue skies that I am seeing outside of my classroom window right now. Obviously, Poetry class is not very interesting. It is the one class I am going to miss from this trimester. We literally do nothing. It's awesome. But back onto the topic of sun and spring, I was shopping on urbanoutfitters.com last night and they have the cutest spring dresses ever... except they are all around $70...no biggie. I've also been wanting to go on a hike on Ring Mountain...just because it reminds me of summer. Next time there's a sunny weekend that is what I'll do.

I Kept Up With The Kardashian's Until 2am..

I stayed at my friend Julia's house last night with my other friend Jill and we had a pretty girly night. The three of us sat down on the couch with 2 tubs of ice cream and a bowl of popcorn at around 11 pm and stayed there until 2 am. We started out watching the Olympics but soon grew bored of Curling (I don't quite see the appeal..), so we switched to Keeping up with the Kardashian's, a show I had never seen before and assumed to be completely stupid. And I mean, I was right... it is stupid... BUT SO GOOD! It is so bad that it is great, and completely addicting. Their family is outrageous, I can't even imagine living the life that any of them live...Though I wouldn't mind having their wardrobe....Seriously...It may be February, but it's not like I'm not thinking about a Prom dress.

Valentines Day

There's always way too much hype around Valentines Day with all of the boxes of chocolates, red balloons and fancy dinner reservations. I don't know it's kind of dumb... if you really love someone you shouldn't wait until February 14th to say so. I spent my Valentines Day with 8 of my friends. We had dinner at a restaurant called Lime (http://www.lime-sf.com/) and then went to go see the movie Valentines Day, starring....everybody... It was a really fun night. The best part? No boys. No drama. Full of ..love (and 3 boxes of chocolates from Walgreens, popcorn, sourpatch kids, and cookiedough bites).

The Seven Day Weekend

I dream of seven day weekends all the time. The closest I have ever come to it is during the three months of June, July and August that kids have come to know as The Promise Land, Freedom, or, as most commonly known, Summer. I like to remind myself of this time of year, when the weather is good, and a tan isn't too far out of reach. Thank God for weekends...
